Biography

Dario Minieri was the first player to earn enough frequent player points on PokerStars (3 million) to buy a Porsche Cayman S, this despite not being able to drive. The high stakes heads-up expert then turned his attention to live tournaments, where he became known for his wild and crazy style. In 2008 Minieri won his first WSOP bracelet in the $2.5k NLH six-handed event for $528,418. A massive Roma fan, he is always seen wrapped in a Roma scarf at the tables.
