Intertops Poker and Juicy Stakes are each about to kick off three-stage online satellite tournament series promising to award winners with prize packages into the upcoming Velden stop of the European Poker Championship.

Being organized by Casinos Austria and due to take place at the casino operator’s lakeside Casino Velden property, this year’s Velden edition of the European Poker Championship is scheduled to run from July 18 to 29 and feature a range of games including a €2,700 ($3,320) buy-in no-limit hold‘em main event on its ninth day.

For those that think this particular buy-in is a bit too steep, the Horizon Poker Network pair of Intertops Poker and Juicy Stakes announced that they will be running a three-step satellite tournament series from Wednesday offering players the chance to score main event seats and possibly pocket a share of the upcoming Austrian extravaganza’s estimated €700,000 ($860,800) prize pool.

“Velden is a great place for a poker tournament as during the day you can relax by the lake and enjoy the mountain air,” read a joint statement from Intertops Poker and Juicy Stakes. “Then it’s time for high-stakes poker with players from all over Europe.”

Intertops Poker and Juicy Stakes declared that the eventual winners of their satellite competitions will each walk away with prize packages into the Velden stop of the European Poker Championship worth $6,500 and encompassing accommodation, their main event buy-in and $500 for travel expenses.

“Players can buy-in at any stage of our three-tier Casino Velden European Poker Championship Online Poker Satellite Tournament Series or try to win their way to Austria for just the initial $3.30 first step buy-in,” read the joint statement. “They can register for the daily tournaments by clicking the ‘tournaments tab’ in the poker room lobby at either Intertops Poker or Juicy Stakes Poker.”
