We've seen hands like this (and worse) in small stakes pub games but in a cash game at a top Las Vegas casino? A poster on 2+2 uploaded this photo of a hand at a $5/$10 cash table at the Rio which appears to show not one but two players holding the nut flush with both having been dealt the ace of spades.

2,300 players returned to the tables for Day 2C of the 2012 WSOP Main Event overnight and by the close 911 of them were still in the hunt. Leading the way at the close was Michael Hack (457,000) followed by Marco Bognanni (452,000), Jonathan Fountain (435,400) and start of day chip leader Randy Haddox (407,300).

Caesars and the World Series of Poker have teamed up with Electronic Arts to launch a new poker app. Virtual bracelets and rings can be won in the play-money no limit hold'em and Omaha games which are available to iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch users. A google play version is scheduled for release shortly.

A record-breaking 3,418 players were on hand for Day 1C of the 2012 WSOP Main Event, taking the total field up to 6,598 runners, slightly down on last year but still impressive given the prevailing economic and regulatory conditions. That means a prize pool of $62,021,200 with the winner set to walk away with $8,527,982, not quite Esfandiari country but still extremely chunky.
