When is the nuts not the nuts?
We've seen hands like this (and worse) in small stakes pub games but in a cash game at a top Las Vegas casino? A poster on 2+2 uploaded this photo of a hand at a $5/$10 cash table at the Rio which appears to show not one but two players holding the nut flush with both having been dealt the ace of spades.
LCI UK Poker Tour Nottingham Main Event starts today
Britain's newest live poker tour heads to the Midlands this week as the LCI UK Poker Tour hits Nottingham. The city's Alea Casino is the venue for the latest leg which features a variety of events that culminate in a £250+£25 Main Event that features a guaranteed prize pool of £10,000.

WSOP Main Event - Cody and Holden build big stacks
2,300 players returned to the tables for Day 2C of the 2012 WSOP Main Event overnight and by the close 911 of them were still in the hunt. Leading the way at the close was Michael Hack (457,000) followed by Marco Bognanni (452,000), Jonathan Fountain (435,400) and start of day chip leader Randy Haddox (407,300).
Mind Sports added to Prague Poker Festival
After a successful debut last year which featured WPT and EPT events, a streamed high stakes cash game and the Bluff Europe Heads Up Championship, the Prague Poker Festival makes a welcome return later this year.
Black Belt Poker's Nottingham Live returns next month

Deeb and Selbst head charge to Day 3
The 2012 World Series of Poker has been a good one for female players with a number of bracelets and plenty of deep runs from the sisterhood. That trend continued overnight with Gaelle Baumann heading the Main Event field at the end of Day 2AB.
New mobile app from WSOP
Caesars and the World Series of Poker have teamed up with Electronic Arts to launch a new poker app. Virtual bracelets and rings can be won in the play-money no limit hold'em and Omaha games which are available to iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch users. A google play version is scheduled for release shortly.
MicroMillions returns this week
Small stakes player have plenty to look forward to at PokerStars over the next couple of weeks as the Micro Millions online tournament series makes a very welcome return. A huge prize pool of at least $5m is guaranteed between 12 and 22 July with buy-ins ranging from a very affordable 11 cents up to $22 across 100 tournaments.

MediaCorp PLC, the parent company of Purple Lounge, has appointed chartered accountants Baker Tilly Restructuring and Recovery LLP as liquidator for the defunct subsidiary.

$8.5m on offer to WSOP Main Event winner
A record-breaking 3,418 players were on hand for Day 1C of the 2012 WSOP Main Event, taking the total field up to 6,598 runners, slightly down on last year but still impressive given the prevailing economic and regulatory conditions. That means a prize pool of $62,021,200 with the winner set to walk away with $8,527,982, not quite Esfandiari country but still extremely chunky.
