American gaming technology provider Shuffle Master has withdrawn from its proposed acquisition of bwin.party's OnGame poker network. A statement released by bwin.party this morning confirmed that the two sides 'have mutually agreed not to proceed with the proposed transaction.'

Online poker site Hollywood Poker has closed with its players being transferred to RedKings.com. No precise explanation has been offered for the closure but a statement on the site's homepage confirmed that it had 'stopped offering online poker'.
