APAT launches online poker site
The Amateur Poker Association and Tour (APAT) is best known for its series of small buy-in live events for amateur players. APAT will now be able to offer plenty of online action too after the purchase of online poker domain Poker.co.uk.

Just 27 left in the WSOP Main Event
Just 27 players are left in the 2012 World Series of Poker Main Event with Marc Ladouceur the man to beat. Americans dominate the chip counts with eight of the top ten coming from the USA but it's Canadian Ladouceur who leads the way with 15,875,000 followed by Daniel Strelitz (12,790,000) and Robert Salaburu (10,915,000).
Nadal makes online debut
Tennis legend Rafa Nadal has dipped his toe into the online poker waters. PokerStarshave released a brief video clip showing their latest ambassador playing his first hand at the online tables. Judging from the way it went it's fair to say he could do with a bit of practice.

Keranan heads WSOP Main Event – just 97 left
The field at the 2012 WSOP Main Event is below 100 with Kyle Keranen leading the charge for the $8.5m first prize. The Californian will return with 6,935,000 followed by Robert Salaburu (6,195,000), Taylor Paur (5,820,000) and Erik Hellman (4,715,000).

282 left in WSOP Main Event – Volpe leads
Day 4 of the 2012 World Series of Poker Main Event is in the book with just 282 players still chasing the $8.5m first prize. Paul Volpe is our chip leader on 2,750,000 followed by Swede Erik Hellman (2,216,000) and start of day chip leader Dave D'Alesandro (2,093,000) with pros Kyle Bowker (2,081,000) and Eric Buchman (2,076,000) rounding out the top five.

Bubble approaches in WSOP Main Event – D'Alesandro leads
The money bubble is fast approaching the Main Event of the 2012 World Series of Poker. At the end of day 3 just 720 players were left with 666 making the money. Leading the way is Dave D'Alesandro who will return with a stack of 1,100,000.
