Expansion for World Series of Poker Circuit
The World Series of Poker has unveiled details of the schedule for the 2012/13 WSOP Circuit series, which will for the first time feature a stop in Vancouver, Canada.
Absolute Poker founder jailed
Brent Beckley, one of the founders of Absolute Poker, has been jailed for 14-months after admitting conspiracy to commit bank fraud and wire fraud. The 32-year-old also pleaded guilty at a Manhattan federal court to breaking American laws relating to online gambling.

The second incarnation of PokerStars' Micro Millions series drew to a close in style overnight with SoyDelGlobo pocketing $157k after taking down a suitably enormous Main Event.
Ben Jones wins GUKPT Bolton
It was a case of trying to keep up with the Joneses at GUKPT Bolton this week as Ben Jones pocketed the £17,390 Main Event first prize. Jones outlasted a field of 114 runners in the three-day, six max tournament with notables Steve Holden and Bluff Europe columnist Ben Jackson also making the money.
