The second incarnation of PokerStars' Micro Millions series drew to a close in style overnight with SoyDelGlobo pocketing $157k after taking down a suitably enormous Main Event.
A massive field of 65,063 each paid the $22 buy-in to create an enormous prize pool of $1,302,260 (easily exceeding the $1m guarantee). All told, 8,505 players made the money with some extremely serious cash on offer to those going deep. With prizes of between $5.9k and $166k up for grabs at a top heavy final table there was understandably talk of a chop but despite some lengthy deliberations a deal couldn't be agreed. After Kuconi was eliminated in third for $83k (he'd been offered $104k as part of a three-way split) it was left to Argentina's SoyDelGlobo and fellow south American cokars to battle it out for the title. The pair did agree a split but played on for the title with the Argentine taking the honours when his pocket 4s turned into quads to beat cokars' A8.The final table positions and payouts were as follows:1st SoyDelGlobo (Argentina) - $157,218.68*2nd cokars (Colombia) - $130,711.75*3rd Kuconi (Serbia) - $83,072.434th ankara733 (Russia) - $55,368.61 5th I_call_U_22 (Germany) - $35,979.836th miu004 (Costa Rica) - $22,134.437th Mr oO12 (Germany) - $13,832.39 8th smellmuth (Canada) - $8,341.079th $trateGema (Germany) - $5,556.38
