New Film To Feature APT Macau Festival
Provisionally entitled Poker King and set to be directed by Chan Hing-Kai and Janet Chun, the film will tell the story of two bitter rivals competing for championship glory.

Poker Ashes on Sky Sports tonight
England may have performed a Houdiniesque escape act in Cardiff over the weekend but can our poker playing cricketers do any better? The 1st Test in the 2009 Poker Ashes will be shown tonight at 10.30pm on Sky Sports 1 with Shane Warne and Darren Gough leading the two sides.
Super Stack Series starts next week
Earlier this week we brought you news of London Poker Circuit’s latest series of events, the Mayfair Maul. The London Poker Circuit has another set of tournaments just around the corner in the form of The Super Stack Series that starts at the Kensington Close Hotel and Spa on Friday 27th July at 9.30pm.
PPA Petition Hits 300,000 Signatures - Is Yours One of Them?
The petition created by the PPA (Poker Players' Alliance) to tax and regulate online gambling instead of completely banning it, today proudly boasted a milestone figure hit. The online petition now stands at 300,428 names.
World Poker Tour announces Cyprus venue
The World Poker Tour has announced that Merit Crystal Cove Hotel and Casino will be the venue for WPT Cyprus that takes place from 4th to 12th September. The week-long festival will culminate in a $10,000 + $300 main event starting on 6th September.

Latest run of The Poker Show comes to an end
After 12 weeks of inspired entertainment and mayhem Boyle Poker’s The Poker Show will be signing off from its latest run tomorrow. Jesse May and Matt Broughton will be joined by Bluff Europe editor-in-chief Michael Caselli and will be discussing the forthcoming Poker in the Park event. Padraig Parkinson will keep us up to date with the latest goings on from the Rio with Eddie Hearn recounting his recent WSOP adventures.
London Poker Circuit’s Mayfair Maul starts on Friday
The Westbury Mayfair Hotel will be the location for a new series of events from the London Poker Circuit. The Mayfair Maul will take place fortnightly starting this Friday 17 July 2009.
