More High Stakes Poker season 7 details – Norm MacDonald to host
We knew that the lack of Full Tilt players on the upcoming seventh season of High Stakes Poker would make a major difference to the show but now another has been announced – Gabe Kaplan, host for the past six seasons, will not be presenting the action in season seven from February 26.
Ashton “theASHMAN103” Griffin runs 70 miles in 24 hours
Poker players come up with some mental prop bets, so this isn’t the craziest we’ve ever seen but it’s still pretty ridiculous. Ashton Griffin, NAPT champion and better known by high stakes screenname theASHMAN103, won $300,000 for running seventy miles in a 24-hour period.

Liv Boeree wins PokerStars Sunday Warm-Up for $147,000
The PokerStars Sunday Warm-Up attracted the usual strong field of pros and amateurs last night with 4,710 players putting up $215 to compete in the $750,000 guaranteed tournament. The tournament attracted enough players to bust the guarantee and take the prize pool to nearly a million dollars.
Bluff Europe Super Tour Champion of Champions final tomorrow
The top ten finishers in the Bluff Europe Super Tour (B.E.S.T) rankings will meet in a special sit and go tournament at 4pm tomorrow to decide who is the Champion of Champions.
WPT Venice down to 20 – Isaia leads

2011 World Series of Poker blind structure announced
In December we were already told of changes to the World Series of Poker schedule for 2011 including a record 58 events and a new $25,000 Heads-Up Championship. Last week, the structures were announced and published for the lucky ones among us who are planning to head out to Vegas for the summer.

More tournaments for Channel 4
Tuesday night is poker night. Well on Channel 4 at least. Earlier this week we brought you news that the channel will be showing season two of the UK and Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT). News has reached Bluff Towers that 4 will also be showing EPT and PokerStars Caribbean Adventure events.
Mike Matusow's slow roll blow up
