Everest Poker announces €1m live event
Following on from yesterday's surprise announcement that the World Series of Poker Europe was heading to Cannes comes news of another big money event in the south of France.

No, your mind isn't playing tricks on you. Ben Hopkins wasn't at the Rio in November playing at the final table of the WSOP Main Event but that didn't stop him winning the November Nine reunion tournament at Foxwoods earlier this week.

Breaking news - WSOPE heads to France
The World Series of Poker Europe will no longer be held in London. That is the surprise news from Caesars this afternoon. A three-year deal with Lucien Barriere, French Caesars Games and Interactive Entertainment will take the showpiece tournament series to the south of France.

Dusk Till Dawn set to break UK poker record with 1,600 player tournament
Last year’s Dusk Till Dawn Grand Prix still has the honour of being the largest poker tournament held on UK soil with their 900 player cap being hit, the £45,000 guarantee being met and a televised final table with a five-figure first prize all for a £55 entry.
