Following on from yesterday's surprise announcement that the World Series of Poker Europe was heading to Cannes comes news of another big money event in the south of France.
The Everest Poker ONE Event will take place at the Salle des Palmiers in Monaco from April 21 to 24, 2011 and will feature a guaranteed prize pool of €1m. In addition to the €5,000+€300 Main Event there will also be a number of side events, including €1,000 No Limit Hold'em, €25,000 No Limit Hold'em High Roller and €500 No Limit Hold'em Turbo tournaments.Everest Gaming CEO Aymeric Vigneras had this to say about the new event, "The ONE is more than a tournament; it's a reflection of our Everest Poker values and a testament to the strong relationship we have with Monte-Carlo.
