London Poker Meet Up win APAT Team Championship
The north west was the centre of the UK poker tournament scene this weekend with the APAT Champion of Champions event taking place in Bolton, just down the road from GUKPT Manchester.

EPT Deauville final table set; Jacobson leads
After five days of play the final eight players at EPT Deauville are decided with Martin Jacobson holding the chip lead at the final table. He flopped a fortuitous set when facing an overpair and the money went in on the flop in a 6m pot.
Isildur1 defeats Daniel Cates in SuperStar Showdown

Tony G declares war on France in run-up to WPT Paris
As expected from Tony G’s blog at PartyPoker, there is some controversy. This time his target is “all those French fishies” as the World Poker Tour returns to Paris next month for the WPT Paris and European Poker Awards at the Aviation Club.
Peter McAdams wins GUKPT Manchester
Peter McAdams has won the opening event on this year's GUKPT calendar. The largely unknown player outlasted a high quality 207-runner field in Manchester that included the likes of WSOP bracelet winner Steve Jelinek, EPT Budapest winner Will Fry and UK tournament stalwarts Priyan de Mel, Jeff Kimber and Karl Mahrenholz.

Gorr blimey – Melbourne veteran David Gorr wins Aussie Millions Main Event
David Gorr has been crowned Aussie Millions Main Event champion. The Australian veteran defeated James Keys after a lengthy heads up session which saw him pocket a $2m first prize.
Bubble bursts at EPT Deauville – Raphael Kroll leads
The money bubble has been burst at EPT Deauville with the 90 remaining players guaranteed a pay day of at least €9,000. Frenchman Raphael Kroll heads the chip counts with 829,000, followed by Fabian Holling with 817,000.
