Viktor Blom has battled in the biggest online cash games around and is afraid of no one in a heads up battle. One thing missing from his poker CV has been a high profile tournament victory but that could change in Madrid where the young Swede has the chip lead in the €25,000 EPT Grand Final High Roller event.

European Poker Tour Grand Final hitting Madrid
The seventh season of the PokerStars European Poker Tour is coming to a close with the €10,000 Grand Final kicking off in Madrid this Saturday. Previously held in Monte Carlo, this marks the final’s first time outside of Europe’s gambling capital and in sunny Spain, the second Spanish stop of the tour after EPT Barcelona.
US Attorney General answers poker questions at DoJ meeting
The US Department of Justice held an oversight meeting this week during which the Poker Players’ Alliance marched on Washington to pose questions to Attorney General Eric Holder. John Pappas, the PPA’s executive director, was one of 30 in attendance but said that the meeting was just “another step forward” and not a victory.
