Fabien Sartoris leads WPT Malta after Day 1a
While in Atlantic City one WPT event is well underway, another is kicking off in Malta with Day 1a of WPT Malta concluding yesterday. Fabien Sartoris leads the way, having turned his 30,000 into 127,350.
David Williams leads WPT Borgata into Day 3
Of a record 1,331 entries just 170 players remain with David Williams looking to take down his second WPT title, leading the way into Day 3 with 727,100 chips. Williams outlasted the likes of Hasan Habib, Andy Frankenberger, Christian Harder, Allen Kessler and Todd Terry to make it to the third day.
American Gaming Association responds to latest Full Tilt news
The American Gaming Association lobby group has issued a call for the US Congress “to institute an effective online poker regulatory system to protect American consumers” in light of the latest accusations made by the Department of Justice against Full Tilt Poker.

US DoJ accuses Full Tilt Poker of being 'a global Ponzi scheme'
The big name pros at Full Tilt Poker have largely avoided the spotlight in the scandal that has engulfed the company since Black Friday. That changed earlier today when Howard Lederer and Chris 'Jesus' Ferguson were named in a Department of Justice amendment that accused Full Tilt of being a Ponzi scheme that defrauded its customers of over $300m.

The second opening flight of the World Poker Tour Borgata has been completed with a total of 1,313 entries and re-entries skyrocketing the prize pool to more than $4,000,000 and making it the largest WPT Borgata ever. It also helped that for the first time, the WSOPE was not running concurrently.
