Faraz Jaka leads PCA Main Event after Day 2; bubble looms
Last night saw 544 survivors of the two opening flights return to the felt at the 2012 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure from the 1,072-strong starting field. After Day 2 just 183 players remain in contention with Faraz Jaka leading.
2012 Aussie Millions begins this week
With the PCA still ongoing there’s more tournament action in the southern hemisphere as the 2012 Aussie Millions, the tenth to take place, begins on Thursday. Starting with a $1,100 NL event and running until the $10,000 Main Event concludes, this one has something for everyone.

Dave Shallow crushes WPT Ireland final table for €222,280
Dave Shallow has somewhat unsurprisingly won the inaugural WPT Ireland after bringing a gigantic chip lead to the final table and using it well. He began the day with almost twice the chipstack of the other four players combined, giving us a quick final.
Viktor Blom wins PCA Super High Roller for $1.25m
Viktor “Isildur1” Blom has taken his name off the “online players without live tournament titles” list with a bang, winning arguably the toughest tournament of the calendar year by defeating the $100,000 Super High Roller field at the PCA.

Randy Lew enters the record books
Randy Lew has earned himself a place in the Guinness Book of Records after an epic session of multitabling at the PCA. The man who plays online as nananoko was gunning for the record for the most hands played in an eight-hour session while still showing a profit.
PokerStars Caribbean Adventure Main Event Day 2 today
The PokerStars Caribbean Adventure saw Day 1a and Day 1b attract a total field of 1,072 players to create an eight-figure prize pool with the winner set to walk away with $2,000,000. Of the surviving players, 160 will make at least a $15,000 mincash.

Hall, Duhamel, Negreanu and Blom at stacked PCA Super High Roller final table
Given the quality of the 30 players who started the $100,000 PCA High Roller it was almost inevitable that the final table would be stacked and so it has proved.
