James Dempsey was the man with all the momentum during the second opening flight of Aussie Millions Main Event. Flushy was down to just 6,000 chips at one stage but went on a heater before the close to finish the day with a stack of 189,000, enough to give him the chip lead.
Michael Webber wins Dusk Till Dawn Grand Prix
Dusk Till Dawn has once again shown why it's one of the best poker venues in the UK after breaking the €100,000 guarantee in its latest Grand Prix event. Michael Webber took the lion's share of that cash, turning an initial investment of just €60 into a very tidy €21,223.

James Akenhead wins Sunday Million
After final table appearances in the WSOP and WSOPE Main Events we haven't seen much of James Akenhead at the business end of major tournaments. The Londoner showed that he is still very much a tournament force to be reckoned with though after winning the PokerStars Sunday Million overnight for a cool, $213,750.
Hansen, Hachem, leading Aussie Millions $100k event
While the $100,000 Challenge at the Aussie Millions saw a smaller field than last year (22 players instead of 2011’s 38), that wasn’t surprising. Despite this it created a buzz as it saw Gus Hansen, Tom “durrrr” Dwan and Phil Ivey return to the felt.

Hachem signs up with Asian Poker Tour
After announcing his departure from PokerStars last month it hasn't taken long for winner Joe Hachem to find a new online home. The 2005 WSOP Main Event winner has agreed a deal with the AsianLogic Group, the parent company of the Asian Poker Tour.
