When you think of top poker line-ups your first thoughts are probably the Full Tilt pros, Team PokerStars, The Hendon Mob or The Hit Squad. There’s a new gang in town though in the form of the Poker Pack who will be hoping to take the forthcoming APT Macau by storm.
Fraser Bellamy wins Dusk Till Dawn August Deepstack
Dusk Till Dawn's monthly deep stack was well attended as usual with over 375 players buying in for the £300 event. In the end it was Fraser Bellamy who emerged victorious outlasting a final table that included Andre Bjornstad, Kyriacos Dionysiou, Ash Mason and Stoke’s Lewis Morton Monaghan.
Kim Jagger wins back-to-back events on Betfred Ladies’ Poker Tour
Kim Jagger has won the Swansea leg of the Betfred Ladies’ Poker Tour and in doing so has become the first player to win back-to-back events on the tour. The 42-year-old from Stoke outlasted a field of 52 runners at Aspers Casino, Swansea to claim the first prize of £2,100.

A new poker-themed reality television show is due to debut in just over two weeks in America featuring four top online professional players in their 20’s attempting to win two million dollars over the course of eight weeks.

Justin Smith becomes a Full Tilt Pro
Justin ‘BoostedJ’ Smith is the latest player to sign a sponsorship deal with Full Tilt. The 21-year-old, a big winner in Full Tilt’s high stakes mixed games, has transferred his excellent online form into the live arena with five cashes at the 2009 World Series, including a final table appearance in the Seven Card Stud HiLo event.
