The great and the good of the gaming industry were on hand at Les Ambassadeurs in Mayfair last Thursday for a special poker night to raise funds for the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity.

David Vamplew defeats John Juanda for EPT London title
John Juanda narrowly missed out on adding the EPT London Main Event title to his 25 WSOP final tables; four bracelets and six WPT final tables last night after a long heads-up match with Scottish maths graduate David Vamplew.

It was pretty mental; he went from thrashing the likes of Haseeb “INTERNET POKERS” Quereshi to Cole South, Brian Townsend, Ziigmund and Patrik Antonius. The only person he seemed unable to beat, or at least hesitant to play against, at heads-up No Limit was Phil Ivey.
