The second day of The Big Event $5,000 Main Event in L.A. – you know, the event that isn’t the PokerStars NAPT LA – saw a total of 417 entrants. The field has now been whittled down to just 70 with Victor Ramdin returning later today as the overwhelming chip leader.
D-Day Poker Link tournament set to be Europe’s largest ever?

Erik Seidel defeats Chris Moneymaker in NBC Heads-Up final
For the second year in a row, Erik Seidel found himself across the felt from one opponent at the final of the NBC National Heads-Up Poker Championship. Last year he lost to Annie Duke and had to settle for second; this year he dispatched Chris Moneymaker to take down the $750,000 first place prize.
