We didn’t need proof that Daniel Negreanu plays poker not for money but for the love of the game and simply to be one of the best, but if we did then this would be it. You all know that he’s taking on Viktor “Isildur1” Blom over 2,500 hands of $50/$100 heads-up NL this Sunday (and, touch wood, doing it again the Sunday after).
World Poker Tour launch $100k buy-in at Bellagio
It was rumoured for a short while but quickly confirmed – the World Poker Tour is getting in on the crazy tournament buy-in action with a $100,000 event for the current season of the tour. The details are thin on the ground at the moment but it appears the tournament will take place around the WPT World Championship in May.
