In praise of Phil Hellmuth? Really? [Editorial]
One of the biggest stories of the 2011 World Series of Poker thus far occurred in the most unlikely of events – the $10,000 2-7 NL Single Draw event that saw John Juanda triumph over a field of 126 players to win his fifth bracelet and a cool $367,170. It was the last player that he triumphed over who got all the attention though – Phil Hellmuth finished in second place, oh-so-close to his twelfth overall and first non-Hold ‘em bracelet.
Record breaking Triobet Open starts today
Estonia probably isn't the first place you'd think of when considering locations for the biggest attended poker event in Europe. Tallinn's Saku Suurhall will earn that accolade this weekend though in the form of the Triobet Open which gets under way today.

New Saturday tournament line up at PokerStars

The best call ever shown in televised poker? [Editorial]
In prior Editorials, I’ve presented the most disciplined folds and outrageous bluffs to have ever been shown on television in high stakes cash games and tournaments alike. Now to the counter – it’s painful when you’re snap called after mustering up the stones to fire that third barrel and bluff for all your chips with a busted gutshot; more painful still when you’re shown just bottom pair.
