Scottish Poker Championship Main Event today
The showpiece event of the Scottish Poker Championship gets under way at Edinburgh's Gala Maybury Casino this afternoon. A bumper prize pool is expected for the two-day, £500+£50 Main Event which starts at 2pm. Players will get plenty of play for their £500 investment with starting stacks of 20,000 chips and a 45-minute clock.

The most bustling World Series of Poker Europe schedule we’ve seen commences today with a €2,680 6-max NL tournament starting within the next few hours. Tomorrow a €1,090 NL event will be trying to smash the “largest WSOPE tournament” record; the series being for the first time in the much more spacious Cannes.
Philipp Gruissem wins second EPT High Roller title in London
High roller final tables are for rich fish and the best tournament players in the world, so you never expect them to last long. This one was over in less than six hours of playing time as EPT Barcelona High Roller champion Philipp Gruissem shipped the £20,000 event at EPT London.
