Patrik Antonius “has less than $100 in his Full Tilt account”
Yesterday we brought you news of a video interview with Patrik Antonius, sans Full Tilt Poker badge, in Cannes. During the course of the video, he said he was very saddened by what Full Tilt were doing to the reputation of poker and revealed he will be one of the biggest losers if the site goes down.

What does poker need? [Editorial]
We all love poker. Most people do [citation needed]. It’s the most popular card game, and one of the most popular games in general, in the world. So why are we still, in the Twenty-frickin’-First Century, left with it being banned as illegal gambling in the world’s dominant country; with the game beset by cheaters, thieves and scammers? It’s a bit silly, isn’t it? To correct this, we need some changes:

US pensioner jailed after poker shoot out
When we hear about shootouts and poker these we immediately think of a series of sit 'n' go tournaments rather than guns and bullets. Unfortunately it was the latter type of shootout that has led American pensioner Aaron Awtry to five years in jail.
