WSOPE Main Event Day 3: Devilfish gets out of jail, does not pass Go...
Sat in Seat 1, Dave 'Devilfish' Ulliott has been having a fairly rough ride, thanks in part to Daniel Negreanu. When you have two big name players at the same table, you find the friction accentuates as they seek to clarify just who the table captain is. Just moments ago, Devilfish managed to get himself into a spot of bother, but got out by the skin of his teeth.
WSOPE Main Event Day 3: Players on Break, and Fischman is at it!
As the players head off for a quick twenty minute break, Scott Fischman will certainly have Florian Langmann talking to himself after being put through the rack by the pro.
WSOP Main Event Day 3: Una-bombed.
Phil Laak is a confusing character, more so for those around him who tend to struggle holding on to his musings and, well... ramblings, at the table. Sadly, the room will not hear of peanut butter sandwiches or urban buddhism anymore, as the hooded one has gone busto.
WSOP Main Event: Day 2 Summary
The sacrifices your reporter makes should not go unnoticed. Here I am, sat on the balcony of the Empire with the rain lashing down. If the updates stop, it might be because I have frazzled. At least it would be a rock and roll way to go.

WSOPE Main Event: Bluff Europe and Science WINS!
Mike Matusow once used to claim he was the unluckiest man in poker. This hand right here might just prove once and for all what we showed the poker world last month - people who drop slices of buttered toast the way Matusow does are NOT unlucky.
WSOPE Main Event: Jesus Bluffs....and Walks
Chris Ferguson won't be making it back-to-back final table appearances here in London after his bluff on the river was called by Sutha Nirmalananthan.
WSOPE Main Event: Day 2 Underway
Walking around the floor of Day 2 is like being in poker nirvana. Look one way you have Doyle Brunson handling Dario Alioto and Bruno Fitoussi. The feature table has Phil Laak throwing witticisms from one end of the table, a chirpy chip leader called Daniel catching most of them. Upstairs, tucked away from most of the spectators, Barry Greenstein is sharing stories with Jon Tabatabai while Josh Arieh chews gum to the beat of his iPod. Once again, London is quiet.
WSOPE Main Event: Day 1b Concludes
What a weird coincidence. Precisely 362 players have entered the 2008 World Series of Poker Europe Main Event – the same number as last year. Once again the big names came in force, and some of them have big stacks to match their reputations.

WSOPE Main Event: Phil Ivey is no more.
It’s always nice to see Phil Ivey in a big buy-in event, firstly to marvel at how easily he can afford the £10,000 entry fee; secondly hoping that his mere presence will elevate your own poker talents.
Greenstein invades press room while play lumbers on.
As I type, Barry Greenstein is milling about in the press area and it doesn’t look like he’s got a pass – oh, the scandal. If he steals free drinks from the press room fridge what else is he capable of? He might even raise light from the button from time to time.
