WSOPE Event 2: The stars are here.
The Empire hasn't seen anything like this since, well... last year. But there poker elite have come out in force again to try capture the £2,500 H.O.R.S.E bracelet

The final table of Event 1 has got off with a bang, with Daniel 'Danny Boy' Nutt and Ian Woodley out in ninth and eighth respectively.
WSOP Event 1, Day 2: Twelve Left, Falling Ashtray Nearly Claims One
It's tense, for players and rail alike. The clanging of a falling ashtray and a startled Linda Lee proves to be one of the surreal moments this evening.

WSOP Event 1, Day 2: Hougaard = Bloch-Buster
It's that man Hougaard again, this time taking out Full Tilt pro Andy Bloch.
WSOP Event 1, Day 2: Down to the final two tables
The first event here is proving to be as enthralling as we could have hoped for. With the final two tables assembled, we're in for an intriguing finish, with a mix of old guard and young guns meeting with a bracelet in mind.
Negreanu is no more.
He's still a god in the Bluff Europe eyes, but Kid Poker won't be taking home the bacon from Event 1 here at the WSOP Europe.
Event 1 - Money Bubble Burst
Painful bubble moment goes to the poor git on Daniel Negreanu’s right – not only did he have a poker God using the power of position on him for hours but with 45 paid and 47 left he got his shortstack all-in preflop with JJ and was obviously delighted to be shown TT. Nice! Well, until this happened:
Day 2 (technically speaking) is upon us.
As the second (or third, depending on how you view them) day of the WSOPE £1,500 gains momentum, it’s an exciting time as bubbles burst, aces are cracked and more than a few people go home disappointed.
WSOP Europe Event 1: Day 1b comes to a close
If there were ever a gremlin in the Bluff Europe I.T. department, it appeared today. A faulty power pack, trotting around most of London, and a good couple of hours later, and we're back in action.

So, who's in town for Day 1b?
Day 1a proved to be a fruitful day for the railbirds here in London as Daniel Negreanu put on a virtuoso performance to turn his 6,000 starting stack into 74,900. He was joined by some the game's biggest stars including Phil Ivey, Chris 'Jesus'Ferguson, John Juanda and Erik Seidel. The question on everyone's lips today is, "Who's in town today?" The answer won't disappoint.
