UIGEA To Be Enforced in December.
More than one bank based in the United States has begun the process of sending letters to customers, stating that the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act is to be enforced in December and that all penalties will be bought in.

There was a surprise winner in the $11,000 High Roller event at the APPT Championship in Macau. Russian Vladimir Geshkenbein outlasted the 64-runner field to claim the first prize of $226,690.
Thomas Besnier wins GUKPT Coventry
Frenchman Thomas Besnier outlasted a field of 84 runners to win the £300 Main Event at the latest GUKPT Summer Series tournament in Coventry. The sports agent from Tours near Paris picked up a first prize of £8,200 plus a seat in the GUKPT Champion of Champions Event.
