World Championship Of Online Poker starts today
$1.25m is guaranteed in prize money for the opening event of the PokerStars World Championship Of Online Poker, which kicks off later today. The six-max No Limit Hold’em tournament - starting at 14:30 EST (7.30pm BST) tonight - is the first of 45 tournaments scheduled throughout September.
Changes to 2010 World Series of Poker
It’s looks unlikely that the $40,000 No Limit Hold’em Championship will be returning to the 2010 World Series Of Poker. The event made its debut earlier this year to mark the 40th anniversary of the World Series and attracted a field of 201 runners who were competing for a first prize of $1.9m.
