Armed robbery at Swiss casino
Often when a high profile crime receives a lot of media attention it attracts copycats. After the raid at the EPT tournament in Berlin comes news of another armed robbery of a casino, this time in Switzerland.

Allan Baekke wins EPT Snowfest
Denmark's Allan Baekke had dominated proceedings in the Austrian Alps building up a massive stack heading into the final table of the inaugural EPT Snowfest. The PokerStars pro put that stack to excellent use, seeing off strong challenges from Johannes Strassmann and Russell Carlson to become the EPT's first Alpine winner.

With the EPT Snowfest taking place in the Alpine mountains you'd think that every Austrian poker player would be there. That's not the case though as one of them is in London and doing rather well in the GUKPT Main Event.

New weekly tournament schedule from London Poker Circuit
The London Poker Circuit has expanded its repertoire of tournaments. In addition to the regular Friday Night Fight at there will be a £50 freezeout every Sunday with a £250 super stack every month starting from 8th May.
