HR. 2267 passes vote – good news for US online poker
It’s a little early to start pouring out onto the streets and dancing for joy but the Poker Players’ Alliance and poker players everywhere have struck the first blow against the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act as the House Financial Services Committee voted in favour of online poker 41-22-1.
UFC announcer Bruce Buffer wins Hustler poker tournament
You know him as the guy who shouts in a really cool way before two huge men roll around cuddling on the floor for fifteen minutes (that’s what UFC is, right?) but Bluff Europe blogger Matt Perry informs us he first knew of Bruce Buffer after Phil Gordon’s Final Table Poker DVD, in which he starred.
VictoryPoker charity tournament at London Poker Festival
Another excellent event has been added to the calendar at this year's London Poker Festival. A special tournament hosted by Victory Poker will raise money for the Murry Foundation, a non-profit organisation which campaigns for the welfare of children and animals and the regeneration of ecosystems across the world.
