There was incredible buzz in the poker industry when Joe Sebok announced he was working for UB – then Ultimate Bet – in the capacity of investigating the old cheating scandal perpetrated by WSOP champion Russ Hamilton, who stole over $23,000,000 from players.
Patrik Antonius nearing $1m profits for 2010
It was widely reported that Patrik Antonius had a torrid start to 2010 and was losing money faster than it was possible to imagine. By March of this year he had lost $3,610,000 at the nosebleed tables including over three-quarters of a million dollars to Tom “durrrr” Dwan in the durrrr challenge.

Personally, I’m very annoyed that this year has gone so fast. I remember – just – the wee small hours of the morning on New Year’s Day 2010; prancing about Trendlewood Park, Bristol, to Simply Red and Toto. That feels like a few weeks ago... it was over eight bloody months.
