Chris Oliver heads PCA Main Event
Day 3 of the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure Main Event was similar to the previous day in that the players dropped like flies – not quite to the scale of 400 gone in five hours but enough that play ended half an hour early when the target number of 48 survivors was reached. Leading the way by quite some margin is Chris Oliver.
UKIPT Nottingham schedule announced, includes £1,500 event
UKIPT Nottingham, almost certainly the most popular stop on the UKIPT outside of EPT London, will take place from February 11 to February 14 at the ever-awesome Dusk Till Dawn poker club. Not only will they be hosting the £550 UKIPT Main Event but also a £100 tournament; a £300 two-day tournament; a £50 tournament; a £100 charity tournament and a £1,500 High Roller.
Jonathan Duhamel joins Team PokerStars Pro
So, er... apparently this is news. Jonathan Duhamel has joined Team PokerStars Pro. Yup, we thought he was already a member of the team as well.
Shaun Deeb runner-up in $5,000 PLO event in Bahamas
Online tournament legend Shaun Deeb has made his second-biggest live cash after coming first out of three in the €20,000 EPT Kiev High Roller; the online MTT giant took second place in the $5,000 PLO side event at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure, taking $73,000 home after a heads-up deal.
Major Swedish newspaper interviews Viktor “Isildur1” Blom
Aftonbladet, the largest newspaper in Sweden, has published an interview with Viktor Blom, the newest member of Team PokerStars Pro. Blom revealed that on his original huge run at Full Tilt Poker, he thought he had actually won the record $1.3m pot against Patrik Antonius:

PokerStars Caribbean Adventure bubble bursts, 173 remain
Day 2 of the 2011 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure $10,000 Main Event concluded in the wee small hours of this morning (though about 10pm local time) with 173 of the record 1,560 players remaining in contention for a $2.3m first place prize.
Fifth season of GUKPT announced; £200,000 added in prizes
The 2011 season of the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour – its fifth – will be kicking off on the 24th of this month at the G Casino in Manchester. The good news is that this time around there will be a staggering £200,000 in added prize money including a £65,000 GUKPT Leaderboard and a £100,000 Champion of Champions freeroll event.
WSOP November Nine to reunite at Foxwoods
