Galen Hall wins PokerStars Caribbean Adventure Main Event
It seemed written in the stars that Chris Oliver would win the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure 2011 Main Event after a disgusting bout of run-good that saw him take almost half the chips in play to the final table of eight. No one mentioned this to Galen Hall, though, who orchestrated a fantastic comeback to take the title and the $2.3m first prize.
Martin Drewe wins Aussie Millions 2011 $1,100 opener
The first event of the 2011 Aussie Millions championship series at the Crown Casino, Melbourne, has concluded with jolly ginger-bearded Martin Drewe taking home the $200,020 AUD (about £125,000) first prize after defeating a field of 762 players (who bought in multiple times to take the prize pool to a round $1,000,000 AUD).
The PokerStars Caribbean Adventure 2011 – bigger and better than ever
In 2005, the first PokerStars Caribbean Adventure was an event on the World Poker Tour with an $8,000 buy-in. The tropical tournament at the height of the poker boom attracted 461 entrants and Englishman John Gale defeated Alex Balandin heads-up to take home a prize of $890,600.

Huge field at PCA High Roller – Fair leads
