The PokerStars European Poker Tour Berlin began yesterday with 243 players competing in Day 1a. Come the end of the day just 110 of them had made it through to Day 2 with Russian pro Vladimir Geshkenbein leading the way.

After Day 2 of the World Poker Tour Vienna just 66 players remain, with Morten Christensen of Denmark leading the field, having bagged up 483,000 chips. However, he has stiff competition coming up the rear.

Day 1a of the PokerStars UKIPT Nottingham matched Day 1a nicely, getting over 500 players out and leaving us with a fraction of that. A total of 558 players competed with 123 joining the 100 survivors from Day 1a.
