EPT Grand Final final table set
In a stellar example of how anyone can win a poker tournament, the €10,000 PokerStars European Poker Tour Grand Final has been reduced to a final table of eight with not one big poker name in sight. After a long day we have an average stack of 25 big blinds.
Double delight for Albert Sapiano
It's been quite the month for Albert Sapiano. The Palm Beach Casino regular got April off to a flying start by winning the Genting Poker Series event at the Fox Poker and his hot streak continued this weekend when he took down GUKPT Thanet.

26 left in Monte Carlo – Potijk leads
The starting field of 665 at the EPT Grand Final in Monte Carlo has been whittled down to 26 with Dutch online pro Geert Jan Potijk leading the way. The cash grinder closed the day 3 with 1,320,000 chips, just ahead of Bernard Guigon and Georges Dib.

Max Martinez heads EPT Grand Final
130 of the 665 starters are still in the hunt at the EPT Grand Final with Team PokerStars pro Max Martinez leading the charge for the €1.5m first prize. The Italian will start Day 3 in Monte Carlo with a stack of 456,300 putting him just ahead of American grinder Mohsin Charania who returns with 413,500.

GUKPT Thanet Main Event starts today
The GUKPT will be breaking new ground this weekend by holding a six-max Main Event. The three-day, £500 tournament gets under way at the Grosvenor G Casino Thanet in Broadstairs at 2pm today.

Victoria Coren wins EPT Championship €5k Heads Up
Not content with writing brilliant, best selling books and hosting the best quiz show on the telly, Victoria Coren has only gone and added a second European Poker Tour title to an already ridiculously impressive CV.
