Patrik Antonius wins $1.1m since Friday at Full Tilt Poker
Patrik Antonius didn’t last long in the solitary World Series of Poker Europe event that he played; the Finnish pro survived Day 1b but lasted just one blind level on Day 2 before seeing his £10,350 swirling down the drain. He wasted no time making up for it, though.

Tyson “POTTERPOKER” Marks wins WCOOP Main Event
Online poker has come a long way – from an unheard-of entity in 2002 to a huge affair this year, with the climactic event of the PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker attracting 2,443 entrants and awarding the biggest prize pool in online poker history.

PokerStars WCOOP – Main Event underway
The World Championship of Online Poker is concluding with the $10,000,000 guaranteed Main Event; it’s a $5,200 buy-in affair that saw 2,443 players enter to create a prize pool of $12,215,000 and shatter the $10,000,000 guarantee.

The World Championship of Online Poker is wrapping up, but it saved the best for last. As well as the Main Event which will make three players dollar millionaires, the $10,300 8-Game tournament is a great one for the pros.

Gus Hansen wins more than $700,000 at Full Tilt
Gus Hansen, despite hopping around London on crutches, has had a great week. He’s already locked up at least £180,000 in the World Series of Poker Europe Heads Up High Roller event and is within one match of taking home his first WSOP bracelet. In addition to this, he has won almost three quarters of a million dollars online.

Ziigmund and Durrrr play $500/$1,000 PLO; Dwan wins
Both Tom “durrrr” Dwan and Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies are in good ol’ London town at the moment for the World Series of Poker Europe; both however found time to scout around the Full Tilt Poker nosebleed stakes in search of some action that the £1/£2 cash game at The Empire just can’t provide.

Grayson Nichols wins Full Tilt MiniFTOPS Main Event
The PokerStars WCOOP is still going but Full Tilt Poker have had their own affairs to sort with the FTOPS XVII concluding and the MiniFTOPS Main Event awarding a prize of more than $1,000,000 to hundreds of players.
PokerStars WCOOP – more winners, more money
Four more events have played out at the PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker with more than five and a half million dollars awarded in prize money across the tournaments. The $1,050 two-day event whittled down a 3,122 player field to just 176 with more PokerStars Pros than you can shake a stick at crashing out in the earlier levels of the 14-hour Day 1.

High stakes PLO action – durrrr and Ziigmund win
Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies followed up his weekend destruction of Cole South and Brian Hastings with some more PLO action last night. This time the stakes were reduced to ‘just’ $300/$600 and he couldn’t top the leaderboard. That honour went to Tom “durrrr” Dwan who boosted his bankroll by $365,000 in a little under 3,000 hands.
Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies earns $815,000 at PLO
The CAP PLO games were boring for railbirds and – apparently – players alike. Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies is known for anything if not his gamble and has been wanting fully-stacked Pot-Limit games for a while. He got his wish thanks to Brian Hastings and Cole South, who have really been going at Sahamies on the PLO tables.
