Poker’s big names are selecting the newest nominations for the Poker Hall of Fame. Among the nominees are Phil Ivey, Barry Greenstein and Tom Dwan. Always one to spice up an occasion, ten-time bracelet-winner Doyle Brunson has compiled his own list which he dubs the Poker Hall of Shame.
EPT Kyiv Attracts Big Names for Day 2
The PokerStars EPT Kyiv reassembled at the Kyiv Sporting Palace for Day 2 of the tournament. With 93 players remaining after Day 1, the second tournament day saw 167 players sign up for stacks, including some noteworthy pros.
Phil Hellmuth to Host Charity Tournament
Phil Hellmuth, representative of online poker site UltimateBet, is well-known for his philanthropy and charitable donations. The 11-time bracelet winner is teaming up with the Taser Foundation for Fallen Officers to host the 5th annual Hold’em for Heroes Celebrity Tournament on November 19-21 at Fort McDowell Casino in Arizona.

PokerStars' Million Dollar TV Challenge
Full Tilt Poker’s Face the Ace received lacklustre ratings and lukewarm reviews from TV audiences and critics as well as poker players. However, PokerStars have responded to this with a million-dollar programme of their own to debut on Fox TV.

A Rocky Start for the 2 Months, $2 Million Team
The long-anticipated G4 programme “2 Months, $2m” – bizarrely acronymed with a superfluous M and known as 2M2MM – debuted in the US to decent reviews. It was a far better reception than faced by Face the Ace, which had lacklustre ratings.
Demidenko Dominates EPT Kyiv Day 1
The PokerStars European Poker Tour continued its storm around Europe by visiting Ukraine, as Day 1 of the EPT Kyiv event concluded with 129 players turning out for the first day.
