Matt Glantz win’s EPT High Roller event
America’s Matt Glantz has prevented Erik Cajelais from earning an amazing WSOPE, EPT double after winning the £20,000 buy in High Roller event. Cajelais, who won the £2,500 Pot Limit Hold’em and Pot Limit Omaha bracelet at the Empire last week, was forced to settle for second in the EPT showpiece.

Aussie Millions winner joins Party Poker pro team
Stewart Scott is the latest player to join the pro ranks with Party Poker. The former chef, who won a whopping $1,865,724 at this year’s Aussie Millions, has inked a deal to become a brand ambassador.
PokerStars teams up with Irish Poker Championship
The five-day festival takes place at Galway’s Radisson Hotel from 11th to 14th December, with the showpiece tournament a €2,000 buy-in main event. The prize pool is estimated to reach €750,000 with the winner taking home €250,000 plus a seat for next year’s EPT London. There will also be three side events with buy-ins of €550, €350 and €250.

Day 1 of the £20,000 High Roller event at the PokerStars EPT London concluded with a little less than half of the seventy-strong field remaining after ten 100-minute blind levels that saw off the likes of Dwan, Moneymaker, Raymer, Greenstein and ElkY.
