WSOPE qualifiers announced
With the Main Event of the World Series in Las Vegas drawing to a close this week (apart from the lucky November Nine) attention is turning towards the WSOPE in London this September.
PKR.com crowns its World Cup Champions
Spain may have taken the honours in South Africa but it was the Romanian team that was crowned the champions in The PKR.com World Cup.

WSOP Main Event Day 5 complete –205 players remain
Day 5 of the WSOP Main Event saw Tony “Bond18” Dunst begin the day ahead of a total remaining field of 574. After about 12 hours just 205 are left in contention, with Dunst having fallen cruelly down the chip counts to wrap up with just 327,000.
Ted Forrest loses 50lbs in two months, wins $2,000,000
“I wanted to show that the impossible was possible” isn’t a typical excuse one gives for risking life and limb in the name of prop betting; perhaps “I wanted to win two million dollars” would be more accurate. Ted Forrest has won just that from Mike Matusow after successfully completing a prop bet to lose fifty pounds before the Main Event.

The WPT $15,000 Bellagio Cup IV championship is currently running, but a clash with a certain other five-figure tournament has unsurprisingly taken some of the coverage away.

BLOG – WSOP Main Event Day 4
Well, it’s happened. Fifty-six preliminary events, a full week of solid grinding poker and now we are in the money of the 41st annual World Series of Poker $10,000 NL Main Event with 574 players making the money AND surviving to Day 5.
WSOP Main Event Day 4 complete –Tony Dunst leads
What a day! We began Day 4 of the 2010 World Series of Poker Main Event with 1,208 survivors from four opening flights; two Day 2s and Day 3. We are leaving with 574 survivors firmly inside the money and online pro Tony “Bond18” Dunst leading the way having accumulated over 1.5m in chips.
