Richter holds the lead at EPT Prague
The PokerStars European Poker Tour stop in Prague tried without avail to burst the money bubble on Day 2 as the field of 254 survivors shrank throughout the day. 93 players return at lunchtime for a third day of poker and of them, an unlucky thirteen will walk away without a profit.
Tom Dwan wins small vs. Daniel Cates in the durrrr challenge
We’ll give them this – Tom “durrrr” Dwan and Daniel “jungleman12” Cates do get things done. In the past week the two have had several sessions of four-to-six-tabling $200/$400 NL and the challenge is now around a quarter completed. Dwan has cut jungleman12’s lead down from a peak of nearly $800,000 to just $555,000.
Irish Open 2011 schedule announced
Irish bookies and poker moguls PaddyPower have released the full schedule for the 2011 Irish Poker Open next April. The Burlington Hotel in Dublin will once again host the event that last year was won by James Mitchell, who pocketed €600,000 after beating a 708-strong field.

PokerStars have certainly been building up the hype around Isildur1’s signing with the announcement of the $150,000 Superstar Showdown in which the mystery Swede takes on all comers at four tables of $50/$100 PLO or NLHE for 2,500 hands. Of course, he would do that for more money and longer, but still, it’s getting publicity.
