Mo 'Truth' Haque heads English Poker Open
Both of the opening flights of the English Poker Open are in the book with 63 of the 138 survivors returning later today. The man to beat is Mo 'Truth' Haque who accumulated a massive stack of 178,000 on Day 1B, over 60,000 ahead of closest rival Igor Kurganov who topped the Day 1A counts.

Igor Kurganov heads English Poker Open
As expected an absolutely stacked line up was on hand the Fox Poker Club for the opening flight of the £250k guaranteed RakeTheRake.com English Poker Open yesterday. By the close of play, the 71 starters had been whittled down to just 30 with EPT Grand Final $25k High Roller winner Igor Kurganov leading the way.
Jackson Genovesi maintains WPT Malta lead
Heading into Day 3 of WPT Malta it’s Jackson Genovesi who leads the way with 760,500 chips, a lead over the rest of the field of a full 237,500. A nice place to be. 26 of the 169 starters will still be competing for the title when they return today at 13:00 CET. Four of those players will walk away empty-handed, as 22 will make the money.
Orson Young leads the Borgata Poker Open after Day 2
Of the 1,181 that started the WPT Borgata Open in Atlantic City, 174 players remain, with Orson Young leading the pack with 728,000 chips going into Day 3. His girlfriend, Cherish Andrews also has a decent stack of 495,200.
