High stakes online draw games – Hansen wins over $1m in February
The High Stakes DB have recently revealed the results of the Draw games played at Full Tilt’s high stakes tables and unsurprisingly, Gus Hansen is having an even better 2011 than previously thought. The Great Dane is up over a million dollars in the draw games.

Eugene Katchalov next PokerStars SuperStar Showdown contender
Viktor Blom, the man behind the Isildur1 moniker and latest PokerStars Pro, is so far two for one in SuperStar Showdowns after a loss to Isaac Haxton and wins against Daniel Cates and Tony G. This Sunday he takes on Eugene Katchalov, the winner of the 2011 PCA High Roller event for $1.5m and a man considered the world’s best tournament player.

Phil Galfond loses $1.7m at 2-7 but wins $700k at PLO
Phil Galfond, best known as the lead coach of BlueFirePoker and his high stakes online screen name OMGClayAiken, recently blogged about his biggest downswing to date – Galfond has lost $1.7m playing high stakes 2-7 Triple Draw at limits of up to $1,500/$3,000.

Viktor “Isildur1” Blom wins $650,000 in three days
Last Friday, Viktor Blom had been dealt the doomswitch cards at new sponsor site PokerStars. Prior to the SuperStar Showdown, in which he beat Daniel Cates out of $50,000, Blom had lost over $110,000 playing Cates heads-up and taking on the $5,300 heads-up SnGs for a $55,000 loss.
Di “Urindanger” Dang earns $1.7m for January at Full Tilt
The Dang brothers have always been a consistent force in nosebleed games at Full Tilt but it was Di “Urindanger” Dang that flew solo to be the biggest winner in the high stakes games for January 2011. It’s a great start to the year for Dang, who reported losses of $1.2m in the now-infamous Macau cash games.

As with the World Series of Poker Main Event, when a notable pro makes the final table of the weekly PokerStars Sunday Million, it’s kind of a big deal. So it was pretty huge when after just over nine hours the final table was set last night with Justin Bonomo, former PCA champ Ryan Daut, Vanessa Selbst and Anthony “wwwBTHEREcom” Gregg were still in contention.

Shaun Deeb wins record-breaking Full Tilt Poker $1k Monday
We already bought you news of Full Tilt’s new multi-entry format for tournaments but they’ve really proved the worth of these events with their $30m guaranteed week of multi-entry events. Patrik Antonius wins almost $500k playing PLO 8 online
It was Finnish player Patrik Antonius who dominated the high stakes action on Full Tilt this week but not at his usual game of PLO or even the more popular NL. Instead, Antonius played a host of opponents at $2,000/$4,000 Omaha 8 to take home a profit of $447,000.
