2008 WSOP champion Peter Eastgate has become the newest member of Betfair Poker’s team of sponsored pros. The former Main Event winner and PokerStars pro took a short retirement from poker recently but now he is back.

O'Dwyer leads EPT Copenhagen
The opening flight field at EPT Copenhagen attracted just 89 runners but though numbers were small there was plenty of quality on show. Leading the way at the close was EPT London runner-up Steve O'Dwyer who turned his starting stack of 30,000 chips into a whopping 190,975 by the close.
Emmett Mullin wins UKIPT Galway
Emmett Mullin is the first name to be added to the 2012 UKIPT Roll of Honour. The Irishman outlasted a bumper field of 698-runners in Galway to walk away with a first prize of €100,000.
Another poker movie coming soon
Last week we brought you details of yet another gangster inspired poker movie. Reaction was decidedly mixed at the thought of another sub Lock, Stock thriller. Perhaps the nay sayers will be more intrigued by a new documentary that is due to hit cinema screens next month.

Duhamel's WSOP bracelet recovered
One lucky road sweeper in Southend was fortunate enough to find a Rolex watch while cleaning a drain last week. A Canadian street cleaner has also found an expensive piece of jewellery, namely Jonathan Duhamel's 2010 WSOP Main Event bracelet.
