Forsmo heads EPT San Remo
The starting field of 797 runners at EPT San Remo is down to 66 with Inge Forsmo leading the way. The Norwegian returns later today with a stack 1,021,000, followed by the Italian trio of Angelo Recchio (851,000), Carmelo Vasta (844,000) and Giuseppe Ottaviani (810,000).
Mohammed Suhail wins Fox Main Event
81 players were on hand at the Fox Poker Club over the weekend for the October leg of the club's Main Event. The healthy field meant that the £25k guarantee was easily exceeded and after two days of action it was Mohammed 'Dr Ash' Suhail who took the honours.

PokerStars buys stake in Hippodrome Casino
PokerStars has reportedly bought a minority share in the recently refurbished London casino, The Hippodrome. No figures have been revealed but according to a report in The Sunday Times, the deal values the Leicester Square venue at £100m.

ElkY and Katchalov get on their bikes
The high rollers of the felt became high rollers of the road yesterday. Rather than taking a car, train or helicopter from Cannes to the EPT event in San Remo, Bertrand 'ElkY' Grospellier and Eugene Katchalov decided to take Tony G's advice and get on their bike for the the 118 kilometre journey.
