GUKPT Luton Main Event starts today
The Grosvenor UK Poker Tour (GUKPT) swings into Luton this week with the £1,000+£70 Main Event getting under way this afternoon.
Ike Haxton joins Team PokerStars Online
PokerStars has unveiled Isaac Haxton as the latest member of its Team Online. Haxton first rose to prominence with a second place in the 2007 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure Main Event, winning $861,789 and added another $1,168.565 to his bankroll runner-up in the WSOP $40,000 NL Hold’em event in 2009. All told has over $4m in live earnings to his name.
Ladbrokes Poker on a downswing
Ladbrokes poker continued its downward spiral yesterday after posting their most recent financial figures. According to their latest report, the well-known bookmaker has suffered another 25% decrease in online poker revenues over the third quarter.
