Cantu vs. Aguiar: It’s On
After beating Brandon Cantu for a bracelet in WSPOE’s No Limit Hold’em Mixed Max Event, Jonathan Aguiar may have thought that the battling was over. However, after Cantu let out an impassioned rant to PokerNews reporter Sarah Grant about his treatment during the tournament, a heads-up grudge match was eventually formed.

Bwin.party finally offloaded their surplus asset, the Ongame Network, yesterday after Amaya Gaming handed over €15 million. Having agreed the deal back in September Amaya has been busy pouring over the final numbers, checking the small print and preparing itself to take on the industry’s fifth largest poker network.

Lex Veldhuis has been busy over the past few months putting the finishing touches on his new website. While he probably hasn’t had a hand in any of the hard coding, he has been contributing to the look and feel of the online portal.
Native American online poker room to launch this month
It looks like a Native American casino could be about to steal a march on the Nevada casino giants by launching a new online gaming offering. The GEObet Gambling Network, an online gambling technology and services provider that focuses on bringing Native American tribal casinos online, is set to launch an online casino and poker room in November.
Torbay Poker Festival starts today
Poker players will be heading to the Riviera this weekend and by Riviera we mean English rather than French. The Genting Casino in Torquay is the venue for the three-day Torbay Poker Festival which gets under way later today.

Full Tilt returns

According to a recent podcast interview with PokerListings Danish axis, Peter Eastgate isn’t happy. Despite being a Main Event champion with millions in the bank and a nice apartment in London, Peter feels that the money he won has given him a “false sense of security”.
