Summer may seem like some kind of mythical event given the recent weather but attention is already turning to winter and the paddypowerpoker.com Irish Winter Festival in particular.

The Irish poker room has unveiled details of the 2012 Festival which will feature eight events including for the first time a Doubles No-Limit Hold'em tournament. The Main Event is once again a €1,000+€75 affair but there is plenty on offer for players with a smaller bankroll.

The Irish Winter Festival will take place over October Bank Holiday weekend (26th-29th October 2012) in the Burlington Hotel, Dublin.
