After a heads up battle of just 1 hour and ten minutes Christer Johansson has defeated Kara Scott to win the Irish Open.
Christer had Kara on the edge for most of the heads up confrontation. The final hand came when Kara raised on the button and Christer called. On a J-K-7 flop, Christer checked and Scott bet, was reraised and moved all in. Christer agonised and made the call. Kara showed J-9, Christer K-3 and the Scandinavian takes the title and 600,000 euros. It's been a fantastic few days of poker here in Dublin. All that's left is to hit the bar and the bar and shoot the breeze. See you next year.
