Ziigmund wins big as Tom Dwan and Ivey lose a million

Monday, 10 May 2010

Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies got back on the up after a recent downswing; winning $387,000 playing CAP PLO with the likes of Urindanger and theASHMAN103 who also won decent slices of cash.

On the other hand, Phil Ivey and Tom “durrrr” Dwan dropped around half a million dollars each. This compounds Dwan’s recent downswing to the better part of $3m but the Full Tilt Pro is still up several million for the year and is around even since he lost over $5m to Isildur1.

Ziigmund put in over 1,200 hands at the CAP tables playing $500/$1,000 last night and managed to walk away a $386,521 winner through a series of 80BB capped pots. Phil Galfond managed to win the biggest pot when he turned a flush to leave Hansen’s AAxx drawing dead for $92,000.
