LeggoPoker’s aejones was dominating the high-stakes NLHE tables yesterday, meaning we’re right to have their videos on our front page. He played just under 1,000 hands and walked away with a $618,000 profit including one huge $370,000 pot against Martonas, flopping top two pair with Ah-Th in a 3-bet pot 184BBs deep.

However, despite this, LeggoPoker’s instructor did not walk away the biggest winner in the NLHE games yesterday. Phil “OMGClayAiken” Galfond, WSOP bracelet-winner and PLO specialist (also the only player exempt from durrrr’s challenge) managed to rack up a tidy profit of $783,000.

One monster pot saw Phil Ivey raise under the gun. David Benyamine folded the big blind but Galfond, Cole South and Tom Dwan all made the $3,000 call to see a four-way flop. Ivey bet $10,000 on the Th-Qd-2h board and Galfond called for a heads-up turn after two folds.

The 3s turn saw the money fly in; Ivey betting $25,000 only for Galfond to move all of his chips – about $125,000 more in the effective stacks – and be called. Ivey had AA but Galfond had flopped middle set with TT, which held to take a $306,000 pot.
