Isildur1 - $5.3m, won and lost

Thursday, 3 December 2009

HSDB has summed up Isildur1’s run on Full Tilt Poker – despite having over $6m to his name just two weeks ago, he now sits on “only” $1.3m net profit after losing most of Tom Dwan’s money to the likes of Ivey, Antonius, Townsend and Ziigmund.

The biggest beneficiary of Isildur1’s foray into the high stakes games has been Phil Ivey, who has earned nearly $2.8m from the mystery Swede over the past couple of weeks despite their short sessions.

Both the high stakes Finns – Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies and Patrik Antonius – have profited around $1.9m each, although both have seen their fair share of swings. Antonius has suffered a $3m downswing at these stakes, with Ilari having multiple days where he was in the red to the tune of seven figures.

Brian “sbrugby” Townsend has firmly cemented himself back in the high stakes games taking $1.7m from Isildur1’s bankroll. This puts Townsend on almost $3m won this year.

Isildur1 still leads the NLHE top earners of 2009 with over $2m won, mostly from durrrr, but the PLO games have been the in thing with this Swede and that’s where the money is at now.
